Often referred to as a painter in a photographic age, the work of influential twentieth and twenty-first century artist Gerhard Richter is one whose work still resonates today. I’m particularly fond of his photography based paintings,  whereas he smears multi-colored paint over photographs and found images to create these dreamy abstracted landscapes.
